Bar Margot
Bar Margot is a cozy corner in an otherwise opulent Four Seasons hotel. We came to the bar after a regrettably mediocre experience at the Gunshow restaurant and left around the time they started setting up for a DJ.
Our spread between five people
After a somewhat big dinner, sharing a few desserts seem like the best idea. So this was our spread! Unfortunately, it seems they rarely update their online menu. I wanted to try the baked alaska that's posted online but the menu we got was completely different!
Biscoff cream pie, what they are apparently known for!
Arguably the best dessert of the day, and those "cream puffs" are actually banana pieces. This dessert sounds and looks heavier than what it is. It's very light and easy to eat (though it is not as light as the other ones we ordered).
Cotton cheesecake with yuzu sorbet
My choice from the menu was this cotton cheesecake. I got it mostly because they advertised the yuzu sorbet with it (which unfortunately was way too sweet for me!). The cheesecake itself is quite fluffy, and it was a very light eat. It doesn't hurt to have fruits to make this dessert easy to eat.
Honeycomb semifreddo (no actual honeycomb)
My friend had semifreddo in Italy, so she definitely honed in on this. I believe the purple blob is supposed to be lavender foam, though I have to say it's not very foam-y. More sludgy? The honeycomb looking decoration is something that's like dried cake. The sponge between the two pieces is a piece of cake. The main portion, though, was a very nice and fluffy honey mousse-like cake. There were many parts of this dessert that really was not what I expected (and not quite in a good way).
Inniskillin Pearl Vidal
I have not much to say but I go for Inniskillin if they're offered.
********
I make a somewhat frequent pilgrimage to Atlanta to see my friends (and of course, eat delicious food!). This time, my friends brought me to a dessert spot - a place that my friend who doesn't have a sweet tooth recommends. To my surprise, the place is in the same venue that the Atlanta community held their annual tea a few years back. I have some stories from that year, but I’d rather not share it in this post.

- Cost: $10-$12/dessert
- Reservations needed? Unlikely, but if you want to make sure you have a spot, make one!
- Dietary restrictions? I'm unsure if they'll accommodate as it seems that the desserts are pre-set, but I would call to see if they can adjust for you.
- Would I go back to this place? For dessert, absolutely!
